Red Carnation

The red carnation was chosen because it embodies the colors of our sorority. The scarlet petals atop the olive green stem showcase Alpha Chi on a single flower.

The Lyre and Colors

The Lyre was chosen to be the official symbol of Alpha Chi Omega fraternity because it was the first instrument played on top of Mount Olympus. Alpha Chi's colors are scarlet and olive green to represent the founding of our sorority in Autumn.

Lyre Badge

The badge of Alpha Chi Omega is a Grecian lyre which reflects our musical heritage.
